Copper Medium Voltage Cable

3.8/6.6kV Single Core Copper MV Power Cable

3.8/6.6kV single core copper MV power cable is made of stranded compacted circular copper, which has excellent conductivity, making it the preferred material for high-performance electrical cables. The stranded and compacted structure increases flexibility and reduces the overall diameter of the conductor, improving current-carrying capacity while maintaining mechanical strength. The compacted design also ensures better contact between strands, reducing energy loss and improving overall efficiency during power transmission.

Q:What are the main application scenarios of medium-voltage cables?

A: Medium-voltage cables are widely used in industries, power infrastructure, urban distribution networks, wind farms, photovoltaic power stations and other scenarios that require reliable power transmission.

Q: What is the difference between medium-voltage cables and high-voltage cables?

A: The voltage level of MV cables is lower than that of high-voltage cables. High-voltage cables are used for power transmission above 35kV, while medium-voltage cables are used for power distribution systems with lower voltages.

Q:What is the difference between aluminum-core medium-voltage cables and copper-core medium-voltage cables?

A:Aluminum-core cables are lighter and less expensive, but their conductivity is slightly inferior to that of copper-core cables. Copper-core cables have high conductivity and are suitable for applications with high current density requirements.
